What I'm Watching!!!
Being Human........love this BBC series. Completely weird concept but works so well. Enjoy!
The Tutors.....have just finished series 1 and am trying to find the time to view season 2 on dvd. Excellent series. The acting is amazing!
The Proposal......went with zero expectations and ended up loving it. Laughed the whole way through. Recommended for a bit of winter viewing fun!
Dark Angel....I have stepped backwards and forwards in time...at the same time! Revisiting one of my favourite old sci fi tv series via dvd is so much fun. And even now, this show just hooks you in.....and the chemistry between Logan and Max is what keeps you coming back!
Underworld series......I admit that I watched the first of this movie series on late night tv and celebrated when I realised that Scott Speedman (my fave Felicity actor) had a lead in it! It's dark and edgy and somewhat scary but if you love the whole vampire genre then you'll love this. Although it's very heavy so be warned Twilight lovers, don't enter unless you want full-on vamp storylines!
Lost in Austen.....thank goodness for my cousin who put me onto this wonderful series. Jane Austen fans rejoice...we have another one to watch! What happens when a 21st century woman is strangely catapulted into the world of Bennetts and Darcys. A must see!
Fringe.....this tv show is very addictive for the sci-fi fan. To be honest, there are parts where you just shake your head at the screen and go 'Yeah right! As if!!!' but for pure entertainment it is great. Unfortunately, channel 9 have now decided to axe it mid-season so boo to them, I say!
Twilight.......all this movie had to do was be true to the book and I would love it! Well, not quite, but close enough. And it didn't disappoint. I did love it. It has its flaws but any person who puts Stephenie Meyer's book on the screen is brave and deserve accolades. And anyone who tries to portray the literary character who has won a gazillion hearts around the world deserves a medal if he pulls it off!
